Phoebe Wang was born in Ottawa and is a first generation Canadian. Her debut collection of poetry, Admission Requirements, was published with McClelland and Stewart in Spring 2017. She is the author of two chapbooks and her poems and nonfiction has appeared in Arc Poetry, Canadian Literature, Maisonneuve, Malahat Review, Ricepaper Magazine, and THIS Magazine. She has been finalist for the CBC Poetry Prize and won the 2015 Prism International Poetry contest. She teaches ESL, has coordinated professional development for diverse writers with the Ontario Arts Council, and works at Seneca College as a Student Support Officer.
